On the Thursday of 10 October 2019, BVI House Asia hosted an information briefing session at The Hong Kong Bankers Club. The event was attended by well over 100 financial service providers and legal practitioners interested in the Bank of Asia’s services.
Sherri Oritz, Director of BVI House Asia, made welcoming remarks for the attendants and shared more on updates on the BVI Economic substance requirements. Mr. Carson Wen, Founder and Chairman of Bank of Asia, and Mr. Michael Leung, CEO of BOA International Financial Group, shared more on the products available to local and international clients, the onboarding process and BOA’s high-tech digital platform.
Bank of Asia’s commencement of services had been highly anticipated by the industry. By operating FinTech on the backbone of BVI’s world-leading FinTech legislations, this offshore bank licensed and regulated by the BVI will provide solutions for offshore and onshore companies and clients.
